As a DJ and driving force behind many projects in Zurich, Nive has repeatedly showcased her distinct sense of contemporary club and music culture. Drawing on her Tamil background and former training in Carnatic music, Nive weaves a unique soundscape in her sets, moving effortlessly between different influences and tempi. Her sets are a vibrant, rhythmic exploration of a multitude of genres, each track carefully selected with a storytelling approach that aims to captivate the audience from start to finish. 

She is currently involved with Zurich-based record label Subject to Restrictions Discs and co-founded Sooriyan, a platform that celebrates South Asian creativity within the electronic music industry in Switzerland. In addition to DJing, she is on the advisory board of the Sambol Foundation, which promotes women's rights and equality in Sri Lanka.
