Based in Naarm/Melbourne, Garfie is Chinese-Malay DJ, artist manager, and podcast host with a passion for fostering talent in the electronic music scene. Known for his high-energy performances, Garfie has played at some of the most iconic venues and festivals across Australia, including Miscellania, XE54, and Beyond The Valley, while also taking his sound to international stages in New Zealand to Asia.

In 2023, Garfie founded Urchin Music Agency, a platform dedicated to supporting up-and-coming artists, with a particular focus on representing marginalized artists and creatives. Urchin provides artist management, touring services, and collaborative opportunities with local clubs and major record labels. Garfie’s vision is to uplift diverse voices in the music scene and build a community that celebrates inclusivity, creativity, and cutting-edge sound.

When he’s not behind the decks or managing artists, Garfie hosts the podcast “I Hate Mondays,” where he dives into candid conversations with fellow creatives, DJs, and industry insiders about their journeys, the highs and lows of the music world, and everything in between.
